How To Prepare Files For Submission
Mark Skin Radio is ALWAYS on the lookout for new music! If you are in a band or know of a
band releasing new music we want to hear from you. Single releases are always encouraged
and welcome, but we encourage artists to send us the entire EP or album, we like to go deep!
Before we get to how you submit we'd like to go through some of our file format requirements:
- MP3 Format @ 320k (This is important to stream sound quality!)
- Must include tags:
- Title
- Artist
- Album Artist
- Must include Cover Art tag!
How To Get Them To The Station
Feel free to contact the station or your favorite DJ via
Facebook.
Submissions are accepted via all the popular file sharing services,
Dropbox, WeTransfer, Google Drive
are all great ways to do it.

How To Contact and Work With DJs
I'll let you in on a secret. Every DJ on Mark Skin Radio has a "Show Post" pinned to the top of
the
Mark Skin
Radio Facebook Page while their show is on. We recommend you tune into a show and contact
the DJ who you think would be a good fit for your music. We are happy to help you get your
tunes into the MSR library and into the hands of all our DJs.
Would You Like To Submit A "Station ID"?
We love artist we play to send us a station ID. You can use the following script or vary it as you like:
This Is (Artist or Band Name) and you're listening to Mark Skin Radio
After a 2 or 3 second pause, questioningly say:
WHAT the Hell Is Mark Skin Radio anyway???? ( or riff any way you like )
Talent Agents, Promoters & Record Companies
Do you represent artists and have a "new releases" radio station distribution list? If so we want to be on it!
